Behind Smiling Eyes
between the forever darkness(below) and the eclipse(my bright light being continuously shadowed by the dark) from above. what does your mind look like?
I like drowning in the sea of my own thoughts,
gasping for air in the madness my mind creates,
falling deeper beneath the ripples of sounds drumming inside my ear,
I welcome the feeling until it becomes too hard to bear,
I gaze down in the bottomless pit of darkness,
gaze up at the forever eclipse way past my blindness,
and I neither swim nor sink in this place of restlessness,
I just always drown inside, behind open and smiling eyes.
